How to lock and hide folder without any software

      You may have tried a tonnes of softwares till now to lock or hide a folder. You may also have familiar with directory permissions in *nix or some special methods of administrator protection etc. But Today, here is a pro way to secretly Hide and Lock your folder for windows, i.e. double protection for your secret files. To protect your secret files, please follow these steps:

1. First create a text file. You may use Notepad or any text editor and copy this script as it is and save this file with .bat extension. Here I named it as temp.bat
2. As soon as you save this file with .bat extension, it converts into a kind of executable file. Now place this file where you want to keep your locker.
3. Place it in a directory and open this file by double clicking it. As soon as you run this file for the first time, you find a new folder named Locker has been created. This is your vault where you can keep all your secret files hidden and protected. So, move all your files in this locker. 
4. Now, to lock the folder, again run the temp. It asks for the following prompt:                              
5. Press Y to lock folder and N to add some more files in your locker. If you're done with all the files then press Y and your locker will disappear just in a while.
6. To unlock your locker and make it accessible, you again had to run temp.bat and this time it asks with this prompt:
   
7. Now enter your password here to unlock the locker. Some starting line of the script have some instructions regarding about passwords. If you want to change the password, you've to follow those instructions.

      This is all set. Now your locker is ready and I bet that this is definitely better than any softwares present out there in the market. Though it lacks an interactive user interface but it still good approach. You don't need to keep any heavy softwares or Lockers to protect your data. Another benefit for this locker is, you can create a locker anywhere in any directories in the windows without any hesitation. You just have to .bat in the directory. Also, If you accidentally deleted the executable file, then you again download that file from here and paste it in locker's directory. All of your data in the locker will be safe until and unless you changed the locker's name.
